Why attend classes on campus?

Students come to school from many places because of their faith in the Bible. Some planning to enter colleges or universities to prepare for secular careers come for a year or two to get grounded in the Bible and to mature spiritually before entering the climate of university education and environment. All who come want to learn the Bible’s important contents. This knowledge is particularly important for those who will become preachers and teachers.

School also provides an opportunity to be in a spiritual atmosphere in one’s first years away from home, one’s first years of being on his/her own, one’s first years of preparation for life, and years when one will be making decisions affecting life and eternity.

School likewise affords the opportunity to become better equipped for effective Christian service. As one studies under the faculty members who have had many years in almost every type of Christian undertaking, he/she benefits much from their experience and knowledge. Their guidance, the use of the school library and equipment, and the practical experience gained while in school do much to prepare one for his/her chosen field of life.

School also presents the opportunity to make lasting friendships. One becomes acquainted with Christian young people of their own age from other parts of the country who hold the same beliefs and ideals. Rooming together, eating together, studying together, visiting together, worshiping together, serving together, going places together, and doing things together often develop into life-lasting friendships and sometimes marriage.

School is designed to open doors for important places of church leadership both here and abroad.

How to enroll in campus classes

You can enroll in campus classes by visiting the Administration building or by completing the on-line application.

Correspondence Classes -- the alternative way to learn

Because some find it difficult or under their circumstances impossible to come to Midwestern for resident studies, the school operates Midwestern Correspondence School also.

It offers a 4-year home-study course in Biblical and related subjects, annually earning 24 trimester credit hours. Correspondence students who have earned 96 trimester credit hours graduate with a graduation certificate.

Visit our correspondence school page for more information.

Campus classes offered

All books of the Bible, family classes, Children's pedagogy, Bible Geography, Biblical Financial Principles, New Testament Greek, and other classes are offered on a four year rotation schediule. To view this year's classes please visit our current year schedule page.
